Honeywell is currently recruiting for a Semi Skilled person to join our team in Redditch.

The main purpose of this role is to carry out assembly, test and inspection in accordance with Company procedures and requirements. This role involves working in a clean, air conditioned environment manufacturing miniature cooling devices for the Defence and Space market.

This position will be working at Honeywell Hymatic in Redditch who are celebrating 85 years of trading this year.

Our Working Hours (total 37 Hours Per Week) Are

Mon to Thu 8 till 17.00 (with a morning break and 45 minute Lunch break)

Fri 8 till 12.00 (with a morning break)

This role is also eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities
  • To perform all tasks in accordance with safe methods of work and complying with all appropriate HSE&F guidelines and legislation.
  • To assemble, test and/or inspect components, or products in accordance with drawings or other specification requirements.
  • To accurately complete all relevant documentation in a timely manner.
  • To work effectively as an individual or as a team member to achieve the required quality, delivery and cost performance necessary to enable the business to satisfy customer orders.
  • To proactively participate in continuous Improvement initiatives as appropriate
  • Demonstrate a professional approach to all situations and be able to represent the business appropriately.
Skills Required
  • To demonstrate a high level of manual dexterity.
  • The ability to undertake tasks using magnifying equipment as necessary.
  • To demonstrate relevant numeracy and literacy ability.
  • To be able to communicate effectively.
  • Previous experience of this type of work may not be necessary as full training in specific tasks will be provided to an appropriate level.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude & willingness to achieve.
