Asbestos Consultant

Up to £35,000 + Benefits

North London (Remote Based)

A UK and international leading multidiscipline Environmental consultancy have grown and expanded into becoming the leaders of all Asbestos and Environmentally related services and management solutions.

One of its current requirements, for an Asbestos Consultant, requires the ideal candidate to be fully qualified, with a proactive approach to work and open minded to training and all levels of work.

Role Requirements

Possess the BOHS P402/403/404/RSPH3 qualifications

Previous experience of working within UKAS accredited consultancies and experience in dealing with multiple clients across a variety of industries is desirable

Good knowledge of Asbestos and types of Surveys across a range of properties, with theoretical knowledge of Asbestos Air Monitoring and Fibre Counting

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to work and travel

Hold a full UK driving license Key duties of an Asbestos Consultant:

Client management, care and liaison

Assessing and conducting asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys on a range of domestic and commercial properties

Organisation of asbestos removal projects as instructed, and any contractors and subcontractors appointed

Conducting on site monitoring of removal works including fibre counting, asbestos sir monitoring, 4 stage clearances and re-occupation tests

Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required by the Operational Director and Senior ConsultantsSalary and Benefits:

This role as an Asbestos Consultant, offers a basic salary from £32,000 up to £35,000 depending on your experience in the field.
