Your primary responsibility will involve taking commercial designs originating from our design team and ready them for production. We’re in search for a candidate with a solid background in setting up artwork for both print and packaging.

Key responsibilities:

· Working as part of a team with designers and buyers following designs and artwork from conception to final sign off.

· Prepare packaging artwork files ready for production to meticulous level of detail.

· Prepare product specifications ready for sampling.

· Creating company catalogues and other printed materials.

· Ensuring all artwork is consistent, accurate and follows brand guidelines.

· Ensuring all files are complete and ready for printing according to printer specification.

· Carry out proof checking before print.

· Adapting existing artwork to alternative layouts and/or formats

· Liaise with external printers as a point of contact for the design department.

· To be committed to working towards the Company’s vision and implementing the company values.

· Ensure that Health and Safety requirements are adhered to and met.

Ideal Candidate:

· Degree level education in a graphic design or related field.

· 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

· Fully proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign.

· Experience of the print industry and processes is essential.

· Experience creating artwork especially packaging artwork.

· You’ll have a great eye for detail and will be able to spot potential problems with designs.

· Consistently display high levels of accuracy in all tasks.

· Time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

· Self-motivation and the ability to work on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.

· The ability to take instructions and follow direction from other professionals such as designers and Head of Marketing.

· Reporting skills for providing progress updates at every stage of the design and artwork process.

· Have the ability to know when to ask for help.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.

· Respect confidentiality at all times.

Hours / Working Pattern:

· 37.5 hours per week

· Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:30 hrs (30 mins unpaid lunch)

· This position is office based
