Arts Centre Manager who has excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and someone who is a natural and confident leader, with outstanding team working and motivational skills, a drive for success, and a passion for the arts is required for a well-established academy trust based in Hedge End, Southampton, South East England.

SALARY: £33,653 - £37,876 per annum + Excellent Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Hedge End, Southampton, South East England

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am - 4.30pm Friday

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Arts Centre Manager who has excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and someone who is a natural and confident leader, with outstanding team working and motivational skills, a drive for success, and a passion for the arts.

Working as an Arts Centre Manager you will manage a team of staff to deliver an outstanding Arts programme within the school and the local community. In this role you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and experience whilst increasing levels of engagement and profitability.

As an Arts Centre Manager you will have responsibility for the effective management and operation of the art Centre, ensuring that an outstanding Arts Programme is in place, high standards of customer service are set and maintained and financial performance is achieved.

As an Arts Centre Manager you will be a part of our full and varied art centre which boasts purpose built auditoriums, music suites, practice rooms, recording studios, a dance studio and The Berry Theatre (a 306 seater professional theatre) right next door. The Art Centre has a broad network locally, nationally and internationally.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential Qualities:
Experience in Arts Management

Experience of preparing, managing budgets and cost control

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Extensive knowledge of the Arts industry

Flexibility and commitment

Desirable Qualities:
Educated to degree level or equivalent

Experience of working in arts education
