School Art Technician

  • Contract Type: Term-Time only, plus 1 week (36 weeks), Full-Time (37.5hrs per week), Permanent
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Salary: c£19-20k Full Time Equivalent (pro-rata c£15-16k) dependant on experience

The opportunity

As one of the leading Independent Schools in the country, we pride ourselves on offering a supportive and caring environment for pupils. We are currently looking for a School Art Technician to join our Art Department team to help us fulfil our goals to provide an outstanding creative environment for our pupils across our Senior School.

Prior experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage and candidates should have practical knowledge of working with a range of art materials. The Art department currently offers GCSE and A Level in Fine Art, Ceramics and sculpture, Textiles and Photography.

The ideal candidate will have an art-based training and/or qualifications with some experience of working with young people and be looking for an opportunity to get fully involved with the life of this busy school.
