Art Teacher

We are actively recruiting for an Art teacher, to join a SEMH provision within the Middlesbrough Area.

We are seeking an a dedicated Art teacher who is open to cross department collaboration. This is a very well rounded department and a great time to join. The role will include teaching and coordinating the delivery of Art at GCSE across year groups 7 to 11.

Requirements:

  • a UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • a relevant art Degree or a related subject
  • experience of delivering art up to GCSE, pushing and engaging learners to progress within the subject
  • CHILD ONLY DBS on the UPDATE SERVICE - or be willing to apply for one right away!

Due to the needs of the learners we require someone who has resilience and patience.

You will be required to work between 8:30am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
