Arlo Europe, part of Verisure, is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Retail Channel Marketing Manager to own all the marketing efforts to grow and accelerate the Arlo Business through diverse channels, with a strong focus on retail. The role will be part of a growing and talented Marketing team while collaborating strongly with our Sales & marketing teams in Europe.

Strategic context and Value proposition

Verisure is the leading provider of monitored security solutions in Europe. In 2019, we formed a strategic partnership with Arlo, a world leader in connected cameras. Verisure acquired all rights to Arlo’s European business, in particular the exclusive distribution rights for Arlo branded camera products for all sales channels in Europe, including e-commerce and retail. Additionally, Verisure is entering into a supply agreement with Arlo whereby we get access to the full portfolio and past and future innovation stream of Arlo camera products to sell through the Verisure direct or partner channels across all our countries.
Today, Verisure does not focus on e-commerce and retail channels. Instead, we drive our core go to market channels: direct field sales, Alliances and telesales.The acquisition of Arlo Europe now gives us a leadership strong position in these two emerging and important future emerging channels for our business. This transaction has strategic importance.Camera led subscription services building on surveillance versus professionally monitored security are now creating attractive incremental growth opportunities.

Arlo Europe is present in 49 Countries and its expansion is continuing rapidly.The Retail Channel Marketing Manager for Arlo Europe will support our growth in line with a strong and visionary Management that is creating a robust business plan for value creation.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this job are to:

·Lead marketing and design agencies to create a best in class category and brand experience at point of sale

·Adapt product launch toolboxes with to maximize launch in-store and online

·Partner with the retail and eCommerce sales teams to lead retail and ecommerce marketing activities for product launches and key promotional periods

·Design commercial marketing activities to drive sales acceleration as part of retailer joint business plans and off-peak seasons

·Partner with eCommerce sales teams to deliver A+ amazon content that best positions our product portfolio for shopper selection

·Lead and develop sales force training materials and programs to ensure we maximize the point of sale product consultancy

·Identify methodology, analytics tools, and processes to track and analyse the performance of retail and eCommerce marketing campaigns and product launches

·Understand category, competitive, shopper landscape with regular tracking, analysis, and benchmarking to recommend new trade marketing strategies and initiatives

·Ensure and drive synchronization with marketing campaign activations such as ensuring where to buy links are updated or ensuring more holistic promotional activities

Permanent hire to be based in the Verisure UK HQ, located in Brentford

Reports and organization structure

Direct reporting line into the Senior GTM Manager, based in Paris

Experiences and Qualifications

As result we are looking for a high potential / top performer individual who will combine relevant Channel marketing experience with a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business. The ideal candidate will be a strategic solution provider as well as operational enabler.
Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar field
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Marketing with Consumer-Centric Electronics Brands or FMCG
  • Strong understanding of retail and ecommerce trade landscape (Country, Channel, Customer) and marketing fundamentals in retail
  • Proven ability to partner with sales teams to drive retail and ecommerce initiatives that result in increased product sales
  • Shopper behavior understanding to drive retail and ecommerce marketing materials design (Category attraction, navigation, product selection, decision to buy)
  • Understanding of retail and ecommerce design principles (touch and feel units, shelf navigation aids, shelf blocking, product packaging adaptation, free-standing display units)
  • Ability to understand, convey and adapt marketing campaigns based on retailer needs and conditions (Branded to unbranded / In-Store Space Availability)
  • Demonstrated interest in the category and competitive landscape to identify trends, threats and opportunities for future retail / trade marketing strategies and activations
  • Analytical – ability to measure performance of key initiatives to prove ROI of retail marketing campaigns in partnership with sales teams

The office has covid safe measures in place, regular weekly lateral flow tests are carried out and masks need to be warn. We have hybrid working so 2/3 days working in the office and 2/3 days working from home.
