Area Train Presentation Manager (WMR)

PM1 grade

Full time/Permanent

Birmingham

We are looking to recruit an Area Train Presentation Manager on a full time, permanent basis to manage the day-to-day delivery of in-service cleaning for nominated WMT cleaning locations of Birmingham New Street, ensuring all turns of duty are covered with competent, trained personnel. In addition you will be responsible for ensuring all quality standards relevant to cleaning interventions are achieved at all managed locations. You will also manage the allocation of all direct reports, to ensure all reporting from delivery sites is timely and complete and to assist in organisational reviews to establish the optimum delivery structure for on train cleaning at the relevant locations. The role will include management of teams across multiple locations, which will involve working a variety of shifts including night working therefore flexibility is required.

You will bring with you the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience managing a cleaning team in the Transport industry
  • Significant experience of managing teams across multiple locations
  • Hold IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of managing Health & Safety within the workplace including manual handling, COSHH and risk assessments
  • Knowledge of Human Resources best practice
  • Knowledge of railway operations would be advantageous
