Area Sales / New Business Manager Location of the Job: Territory based. Northern England, North Yorkshire, County Durham, Lancashire, Cumbria and Northumberland. Salary & Benefits Package: A competitive basic salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience. Achievable targets and a generous uncapped commission structure. Company car. Fuel card. About The Company:A small family run company who specialise in supplying heavy vehicle and equipment to the agricultural, equine, arboriculture, construction industries and hire companies. The Job Role Details: We are looking to recruit an experienced, motivated and target driven individual for the role of Field Sales and New Business Manager supplying a wide selection of heavy machinery to the agricultural, equine, arboriculture and construction industries - and to some hire companies too. This role involves managing existing accounts and creating new business within this area, selling new and used equipment, and gaining new hire business. Key Responsibilities: You will… Sell a range of heavy machinery and equipment to existing accounts and creating new business within this area. Supply heavy machinery to the agricultural, equine, arboriculture and construction industries - and hire companies too. Be self-motivated and manage the area with a professional approach. Develop good working relationships and continue to build the existing sound customer base through good communication. Attend company training as and when required. Travel to meet with customers within the designated sales territory.Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications: You will have / be… Proven sales experience in a similar role. Knowledge of the agricultural, equine, arboriculture and construction equipment/industries. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
