Following a rapid period of Growth, Project Power are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager based in our Newport Headquarters predominantly covering South Wales and South West. We are looking for a highly driven, passionate and motivated Area Sales Manager to assist with our Business Development in Sales by recruiting and managing a Portfolio of clients in the sectors within which Project Power operate.
Project Power are a leading supplier in the field of Temporary Power Solutions including Generator Rental, Hybrid and Sustainable Power Generation Rental, Cable and Distribution Rental, Fuel Management including Emergency Fuel and Power Engineering Services. We are looking for someone to join our rapidly-paced business to help us further push Project Power within the region local to our HQ.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for the building and ongoing development of your Own Client Portfolio across various industry sectors
Account Management of a number of existing clients within the business including maximising further business opportunities within our existing portfolio and account reviews
Attending Site Visits, Specifying Equipment working with our Technical Teams and quoting clients for solutions according to their individual needs
Work with clients to help them understand their power requirements and assist them in correct equipment sizing and specification first time with a keen eye on Sustainable and Alternative Power Generation Options
Actively Promoting and Marketing Project Power within the Market Place including attendance at key industry events, roadshows and exhibitions as well as Social Media Development
Alongside Generator Rental, actively push the full range of Company Products and Services within the local area including Sustainable Power Solutions, Cabling and Distribution Rental and Specialist Services
Weekly and Monthly Sales KPI reporting to the Company Directors of your Portfolio
Qualifications/Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer care skills
A real ’people person’ able to engage with clients both in written, telecommunication and in-person
Experience and competent with standard IT Operating Systems (Microsoft Office 365) and either existing experience or willingness to learn our Rental Operating Systems
Strong commercial and negotiation skills whilst working within our sales and accounts structure
Experience of the Generator or Plant Rental Sectors is preferred
