Iggesund Paperboard is a Swedish company and a member of the Holmen Group. The Workington Mill produces premium paperboard under the brand Incada. Our paperboard is an integral part of the shopping experience for our clients’ customers. Since 2013 we have powered the mill almost entirely by fossil fuel free energy. Your future challenge

Sourcing the best quality yet sustainable raw material for our manufacturing operation is central to the quality of our finished product. A level of quality that we are proud of and renowned for.

The successful Area Forestry Manager will join an experienced team responsible for coordinating territories and ensuring that national legislation, safety and environmental guidelines are adhered.

Working remotely you will locate both standing and felled timber from sustainably managed forests. Developing relationships with timber and haulage contractors within the territory is integral to this exciting and autonomous role.

The Successful Forestry Area Manager Will Possess
  • Degree level forestry qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
You Will Be Distinctly Advantaged If You Possess
  • Experience of managing harvesting operations, organising transport and trading with forestry supply chain.
  • Appropriate training in both working environment and health and safety.
  • Knowledge of the forestry industry and related organisations.
To succeed in this role you should be commercially astute and be familiar with environment and certification within forestry.
