Job description
Our client, an architectural design consultancy based in Liverpool, are seeking an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportnity for someone to expand their skillset & grow within a thriving team that are actively looking to develop an Architecturla Technician / Technologists’ carreer further. Our client has an invaluable reputation for providing quality service in planning, architecture and interiors working on all RIBA stages. Projects include detailed design and construction on all bespoke homes as well as commercial work.
The Architectural Technician / Technologist responsibilities will be to produce planning application drawings and develop further detailed stages suitable for Building Regulation applications, tender and construction. In addition, the Architectural Technician / Technologist will liaise with clients and other consultants to develop designs and prepare documentation for tender purposes, including specification writing. The Architectural Technician / Technologist will need to be proficient in AutoCAD, with Revit being preferable also.
Architectural Technician / TechnologistPosition Overview
- Produce planning application drawings and develop further detailed stages suitable for Building Regulation applications, tender and construction.
- Producing the production construction packages.
- Liaise with clients and other consultants to develop designs and prepare documentation for tender purposes, including specification writing
- Survey a wide variety of buildings
- Creating excellent buildings for the end users and clients
- Join in on weekly project reviews
Architectural Technician / TechnologistPosition Requirements
- Driving licence and access to own car (advantageous)
- Degree / HNC / HNC in an Architectural Technology
- At least 2+ post-graduation years’ experience
- Good technical ability
- Residential experience preferred
- A detailed knowledge of the Building Regulations and the ability to produce accurate and fully workable details is important.
- Minimum CAD proficiency is to be fully conversant with AutoCAD and Revit is also preferred
