Architect - Full Time - Ringwood, Hampshire

Permanent - £35,000-£38,000 per annum DOE - Office based

Adecco Bournemouth are delighted to be assisting a contemporary architectural practice, based on the outskirts of the New Forest, with their search for a Qualified Architect to join their dynamic team.

The practice is in its 20th year and has success in the education, commercial, mixed-use and master planning sectors.

The Job

You will be a fully qualified architect who is adventurous, enthusiastic, and capable of leading projects from conception to completion with a sound working knowledge of the RIBA Work Stages and Building Regulations. As a key member of the expanding team, you will be responsible for:
  • Fee earning, working with clients, developing design concepts from RIBA Stage 0 through to 7.
  • Leading younger members of the team and advising them / mentoring them on the way forward.
  • Promoting excellent and sustainable architecture.
  • Promoting the practice and looking at innovative and dynamic ways of moving the practice forward.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience using VectorWorks or ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suites and MS Office
  • Excellent design skills
  • Project management - ability to run a project, from concept to completion, with the client team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Leadership / team skills
  • An understanding of design projects and tasks relating to the advancement of that design
Rate and Benefits

This role is paying £35000-£38000 per annum depending on experience. Ample parking with a rewarding benefits package. This position is full time, Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm and is fully office based.

The Successful Candidate

The ideal person will be RIBA Part 2 Qualified, with proven experience in an architectural practice.
