Wanted Electrician for Cheltenham & Gloucester area, must have minimum 5 years experience post apprenticeship,18th Edition . AM1 or AM2, Inspection & Testing own tools & tester . JIB/ECA cardholder. We are a NICEIC registered company (Domestic & Contracting) and do all our reports online, if you are not familiar with this we can get you up to speed as our current QS is not leaving until the handover is completed. Van & fuel card supplied on handover along with stock kit.

We are a family owned group of companies with a construction company, and hotels in Gloucester & Cheltenham, Doncaster & Wakefield and a number of Gloucester construction projects currently in progress. We also have a large property portfolio of domestic property.You may be expected to travel occasionally to some of our other premises, free accommodation will be provided .

Our existing QS is leaving after 7 years, his company vehicle & fuel card will be handed over to you on completion so you should have a full drivers licence with no more than 6 points.

This is a Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) position so you will need to be registered with inland revenue and have a UTR number. Pay is every 2 weeks by bank transfer , 1st week is in hand.

Free accommodation is available to those applying from outside Gloucestershire this is reviewed regularly along with pay rates. Starting rate £20 per hour as per hours below ( Mon to Friday Hours are 8-5pm Mon to Thurs, Friday 4pm finish).

Overtime is available and there is a call out ROTA for out of hours which attracts premium rates. Weekend work may be available at premium rates also.

We currently have three full time qualified electricians and two electricians mates, they all report directly to the head of facilities.
We also have maintenance personnel who do day to day maintenance so they typically would do things like changing light bulbs.
