Job title:Apprentice Skills & Development Leader – Project Management, Project Control and Finance

Salary: £48,091 – £52,000 depending on skills and experience

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Have the ability to inspire a culture of service excellence and design innovative programme delivery in line with business needs
  • Inspire high performance amongst the team and role model a culture of proud professionals
  • Consistently perform against challenging targets and develop talent to deliver strategic performance
  • Take a lead on key projects, programme innovation and quality improvements actions
  • Embed modern learning practice such as skills competitions and problem based learning as an integral part of the learning and assessment programme
  • Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure practitioner skills and programme content is current and aligned to business needs
  • Ensure effective monitoring and assessment of learners against relevant qualification Standards (on and off the job) and in compliance with awarding body or legislative requirements
  • Management of subcontracted delivery partners in order to monitor service provision and learning outcomes to ensure delivery is aligned to business requirements
  • Provide and monitor the effective safeguarding, welfare and support arrangements for learners throughout their Early Careers programmes
  • Effective recording /reporting of performance data in support of delivery outstanding outcomes for learners
Essential

Your skills and experiences:
  • Skilled professional with track record of occupational competence
  • Qualified practitioner in Education and Skills training.
  • Passionate about apprenticeships and learning
Desirable
  • Teaching and learning qualification, including experience of learning delivery
  • Professional registration in an applicable field
  • Assessor qualification
  • Leadership experience

You’ll be leading a team of five Skills Coaches, who work together for a collaborative approach to supporting apprentices learning and development. Exciting opportunities include a focus on digital transformation for teaching and assessment.
