FM Conway are currently searching for an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our Water and Drainage Division based at our fantastic head office in Sevenoaks, Kent. This is a full time, permanent role, offering full training and a clear career pathway.

The Apprentice Quantity Surveyor Role

You will work in a supported learning environment to develop the skills and knowledge for an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, whilst also completing a Level 6 apprenticeship. As our Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing accurate and value generating input to projects.

The role ensures that the commercial aspects are carried out in accordance with the contract, company policies and procedures, and to the satisfaction of the customer and contract leader.

Other Responsibilities Include
  • Showing enthusiasm and commitment in your chosen area of development
  • Pursuing your studies to gain the knowledge, skills, and behaviours of the role
  • Being responsible for the successful completion of your apprenticeship, passing the required end point assessment and gaining work related qualifications
  • Meeting regularly with your manager, emerging talent partner and apprenticeship training provider to review your individual learning plan and targets
  • Building professional working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Undertaking other duties and ad hoc projects as required by the business
  • Acting in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly with reference to our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies, procedures, and practices
What we’re looking for in our Apprentice Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for candidates with A-Level’s ideally within maths and science, as well as GCSE’s in Maths and English. You will have an analytical mind and an interest in the construction industry. You will have strong communication skills and the enthusiasm to learn and develop.
