The role will involve completinginstallations from end to end, on time and to a high standard. We work for heritage sites, retail & maincontractors, no experience required as full training will be provided. An interest and desire to build a careerwithin the AV industry is essential.Duties and responsibilities:? Installation & Termination of CAT5 / CAT6 cables? Installation & commissioning Screens, Projectors, Control Systems, Kiosks, Amplifiers, Matrixes andgeneral AV systems? Working with large screen and other bracketry, unistrut and fixings? System programming? Fault Finding & resolution? Rack Building & dressing? Configuration & support of IP networks & systems? Experience in RS232 and IR control? Working at HeightsSkills Required
  • Experience of installing data networks is desirable? Outgoing, honest and positive personality? Strong customer service skills? Strong problem solving skills? Conscientious, with ability to pay attention to detail? Capacity to work under pressure? Happy to work away from home? Be flexible and a self-directed hard working member of the team? Strong organisational and time management skills - self motivated? Excellent communication skills? This is an active role so physical fitness is important? Microsoft Excel, Windows-based PC applications

Subject to working independently at customer sites.? Full UK Driving license required? Can work with less supervision and under pressure.Physical requirements:? Routine lifting of objects up to 40 pounds such as drills, AV equipment and other equipment related tothe AV installation? Subject to climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolds, and work at heights up to 5m.? Subject to standing or walking for long periods of time.? Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.? Work is routinely performed in both internal and external environments and with occasional exposure toinclement weather, and varying temperatures.
