Application Support Analyst Role - Permanent - Remote working Available - Salary Up to 30k plus benefits.Your New CompanyOur client is a charity that aims to improve the lives of people with brain injuries in the UK. Your role will involve identifying, delivering and maintaining IT solutions in new development and day to day work, and application maintenance and support. By prioritising, managing and monitoring requests for support from the service desk, you will help us maintain business as usual in our care and rehabilitation centres across the UK. You will work in partnership with our business and operational staff to find solutions to existing problems and will have the opportunity to put forward your ideas about how our services can improve.Main Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and responsive software support at all times.
  • Prioritise and manage log requests for support from service desk, other service delivery staff and/or users.
  • Make the required system modifications, developing work-arounds enhancements, manipulating data, reconfiguring systems, changing operating procedures& training users or operations staff.
  • Deployment of service releases, patches, requests and customisations
  • Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy& that all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures; and ensures that documentation is available and accessible to all who need to use it.
  • Escalate requests to systems development staff or software suppliers where necessary& ensures that requests raised are handled according to agreed procedures.
About YouWe’re looking for forward thinking and enthusiastic individuals who have knowledge of managing enterprise business applications. Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages including SharePoint and Dynamics is advantageous and previous experience of working within an IT service desk environment is desirable.
