Application Packager - DV Cleared + 6 month initial contract + £(phone number removed) per day - Inside IR35 + Hampshire based role + MOD DV Cleared Project Skills: + MCAfee Antivirus products, VMware, Windows Operating Systems Administration + Producing Integration test plans and scripts Integrator/packager is to take a set of instructions and software written by a Designer/Engineer and make the solution work in a customer representative environment. Some of the software is installed manually and some installed using automated software installation tools. The Integrator needs to be able to resolve installation issues and feedback findings to the Designer/Engineer using ITIL approved defect management procedures. A number of iterations of the integration process may be necessary before the solution is deemed fit by the integrator to proceed into System Test. The Integrator/packager is responsible for identifying and diagnosing software faults before the software is released to the next stage in the process. The Integrators role is essential in quality assuring the software produced by the engineering team. The Packager also needs to ensure that all the software components they are integrating work together and that the design delivers the expected outcome without impacting adversely on the existing solution. Day to Day responsibilities could include: RADIA Software installation Integration/packaging (primarily software though occasionally specific hardware issues might arise) Unit and Integration Testing Problem Investigation and Resolution Document Authoring Essential: MCAfee Antivirus products VMware Windows Operating Systems Administration Analytical trouble shooting Experience of integration of different software solutions on various hardware platforms Experience of producing Integration test plans and scripts Problem solving and ability to work under own initiative
