Your challenge

After training and a tailored learning programme when you join, you will be a key member of a newly formed team tasked with adding mobile app development to Videojet’s development capabilities. As mobile apps become an ever-increasing part of Videojet’s product offering, this role will be instrumental in providing customers with groundbreaking tools to get the best from their chosen product identification solution.

Your responsibilities as an App Developer (iOS) at Videojet, include:
  • Collaborating with multi-functional teams to define, develop and deploy iOS applications
  • Producing tests (unit and UI), working closely with our test engineers
  • Keeping up to date with changes in mobile technology, iOS releases, new and existing third-party libraries and sharing this knowledge with the wider team
  • Maintaining and improving existing mobile apps including bug fixing and the improvement of app performance with a focus on customer experience
Your experience/skills will include:
  • Essential Technical Skills;
    • C#.NET - XAMARIN for iOS
    • Design and implementation of iOS user interfaces
    • Use of source control systems, GIT/TFS
    • Deployment of iOS apps including BETA test versions
    • Self-Motivated and independent – can complete tasks right first time, on-time, with minimal direction.
    • Methodical – process driven, detail orientated, capable of highly accurate data collection.
    • Great Teammate – highly effective at teamwork and communication.
    • Flexible – comfortable with multi-tasking, able to optimally prioritize time bound tasks
