Apartment Manager - Liverpool City Centre
Location and hours:
Based at Liverpool City Centre

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING;
Business Development
- Continuously looking for opportunities to maximise revenue and occupancy levels, in coordination with the Regional Sales Team and Revenue Management Team
- Ensuring your team and you identify upselling opportunities
- Ensuring your team and you build relationships with guests to encourage repeat business
Delivering Guest/ Customer Service
- Ensure you and your team provide memorable service at every stage of the guest journey
- Ensuring you and your team respond to and act on guest reviews in a timely and professional manner
People Management (required for all Management roles)
- Strong communication, leadership and engagement
- Recruiting high calibre talent
- Setting SMART objectives and measuring performance and delivering feedback
- Performance Management
- Succession Planning and team development (including on the job training and coaching)
Day-to-Day Operation
- Accountable for all team members, ensuring they perform their duties and job descriptions in line with company expectations
- Accountable for the daily operational running of the site and ensuring the site meets industry standards as a minimum
- Ultimate decision making with regards to effective rota management of your team
- Delegating daily tasks as required to your team to enable the smooth running of the apartment operation
- Accountable for Health and Safety on your site(s)
- Reviewing the P&L and cost control management to set the strategy for driving future business performance
- Accountable for the successful delivery of refurbishment and cap ex spend, including liaising with contractors, in line with budget
- Accountable for the delivery of overall inventory management and allocations through your teams
- Leading team meetings to ensure your teams are involved and informed
- On call and Duty Management responsibilities
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING;
Knowledge/ Skills/ Qualifications
- GCSE/NVQ (including English and Maths)
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English language
- Customer Service Skills
- Highly proficient with IT systems and software (including Microsoft Office)
- Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (site dependant)
- Communication/ Negotiating/ Attention for detail/ Management and Leadership/ Decision Making/ Strategic Thinking/ Analytical/ Sales Ability/ Problem Solving/ Time Management/ Flexible with the ability to think outside the box
Experience
- People Management experience is essential
