Quality and Compliance Technician
Reports to: Quality Manager/Technical Team
Job Overview: To assist in and administer all areas of feed quality and compliance
Responsibilities and duties:
· Oversee and implement quality management system within production facility.
· Assist in ensuring UFAS code of practice compliance.
· Assist in complaint investigation & resolution.
· Liaise with internal & external laboratories for testing.
· Maintain product testing schedules
· Assist in the management of HACCP
· Work alongside the Transport Department and TASCC
· Drive quality & hygiene standards up in an expanding feed business
Knowledge & skills
· Previous experience in a QC/ QA role
· Demonstrates a high level of administrative capability
· High levels of verbal and numerical reasoning ability
· Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with impact at all levels
· Attention to detail even when working to challenging deadlines
· Good IT skills including Intermediate Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
· Prioritising workloads and managing a varied workload in a busy environment
· The ability to develop effective and supportive relationships with customers and colleagues
Desirable
· Experience of working in a farming/agricultural/ equine environment
· Understanding of farming and the countryside

Salary: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
