Cantref Adventure Farm is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team from June until September. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving adventure farm and contribute to a memorable experience for our visitors. If you have a passion for delivering engaging shows, running activities, and providing exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering shows such as pet handling, bottle feeding lambs, pony grooming, and presenting our Mr Ev’s Panto.
  • Organising and running activities including foam parties, bubble beat parties, party games, and character meet and greets.
  • Supervising play equipment, including the sledge ride, swamp boat ride, and indoor drop slide, to ensure the safety of visitors.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout all areas of the farm park.
  • Conducting regular safety checks on equipment and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assisting with the feeding and cleaning of animals.
  • Delivering VIP experiences, such as goat walking, pamper pony sessions, be a keeper, meet the pets, and segway experiences.
  • Managing a small team of staff in the absence of the manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in delivering shows, organising activities, or working in an entertainment environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage and captivate our visitors.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team and provide leadership when required.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays as per the farm’s schedule.
