Job Description

The purpose of this job is to perform analysis of pharmaceutical raw materials, drug substance, and finished product and produce accurate results within an acceptable timeframe. We are ideally seeking an Analyst with HPLC, dissolution and drug product development experience.

This position is to join our innovative Professional Scientific Services (PSS) programme as an employee of Eurofins. The programme places full-time analysts, technicians, scientists and technical support personnel managed by Eurofins directly at the client facility to provide long term staffing needs while maintaining the same services, expertise and cGMP compliance available at the Eurofins facility. Eurofins is currently recruiting for an experienced Scientific Analyst based at our PSS site in Moreton, UK

Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline is essential.
  • A sound, fundamental knowledge of Chemistry is essential.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience of pharmaceutical analysis in a GMP laboratory.
  • Experience of HPLC for Assay, impurities and volatiles testing, Dissolution and Karl Fisher water analysis, appearance & colour testing, experience in stability testing would also be very beneficial.
  • Experience in method development and method validation is essential
  • Thorough understanding of chromatographic techniques
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot issues relating to instrumentation and analysis as required.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes.
  • Ability to work using fully electronic media, including MS Office.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and to form strong working relationships with colleagues.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be capable of developing solutions to problems as part of a team.
  • Willing to operate in a flexible manner and be able to switch priorities at short notice.
  • Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills.
  • Passionate about quality and customer service.
  • Good communication skills both internally and externally.
