About The Role

This role is to support broadening of the University of Oxford’s longstanding relationship with SCG Chemicals Co., Ltd. and constitutes an outstanding opportunity to work with world-class scientists and build deeper, broader alliances that leverage the unique strengths of Oxford, Oxfordshire and the UK more widely.

The Alliance Manager will understand market drivers and assist in the development and implementation of SCG’s strategies to increase research collaborations and be responsible for progressing opportunities. These opportunities will increasingly be

multi-disciplinary, cross-divisional and long term collaborations.

The role will be based within the Innovation and Business Partnerships Team, but work closely with the SCG-Oxford Centre of Excellence Director (Professor Dermot O’Hare).

About You

You will have a background in business development who bring broad scientific awareness and interest, and substantial relevant experience in research and innovation.
