AIML Product Manager

The AI Product Manager role works in partnership with our engineering organization to create the products that realize this vision. Candidates need to combine technical knowledge and experience of AI and Machine Learning methods with a user-focused approach to iteratively discover and deliver the right products.

This is a high critical profile role with visibility across the company. Working within a team of Product Managers, this role will have an emphasis on development of AI product and strategy, partnering with users, stakeholders and engineering, communication with senior leaders across the organisation and ultimately doing what it takes to deliver successful products.

This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career.
  • Understand user needs and help them to drive strategic alignment around a product area across the organisation.
  • Assess data requirements and sequencing with respect to model development and project plan execution for on-time project delivery.
  • Responsible for assessing AI project goals, aligning sprint plans, and managing deliverables.
  • Ability to understand the broader delivery strategy and ensure execution of plan.
  • Depth of understanding of the software engineering process
  • Ensure product focus with a view on how to improve and deliver products with clear communications across teams and stakeholders on agreed goals and timelines.
  • Working closely with researchers and engineers as part of the core team, managing week to week alignment and delivery.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • A strong degree preferably in a computational, engineering, or biotechnology-related subject.
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully delivery products in a complex multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Experience of modern machine learning and AI methods, either as a practitioner or as a product manager in a similar environment.

Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Demonstrated delivery of a business strategy
  • Experience of Biology or Biotechnology
  • Proven ability to influence, communicate and negotiate with all levels of management across functional and business unit boundaries
  • Demonstrated experience organizing and motivating teams of individuals from multiple departments outside of his/her control (e.g., matrix team members)
  • Proven ability to understand process improvement and change management issues associated with the lifecycle of project delivery programs
