We have an exciting opportunity for an Agricultural Workshop Technician with knowledge and experience of working on a varied range of vehicles from Agricultural to gritting vehicles to join our team. We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for the day-to-day workshop maintenance on vehicles and agricultural equipment. The role will also include farming and contracting operations during busy periods. The successful candidate will be experienced in various tractor operations for example hay making, cultivations and moving machinery with a tractor and low loader. Ideally the candidate will be able to drive a wide range of machinery including excavators and telehandlers.

· Must be reliable, dependable, hard working with a positive attitude

· Good communication skills

· Excellent record keeping

· Full UK driving licence

· Good knowledge of service, repair and maintenance of tractors, agricultural machinery and gritting vehicles

· Must be able to keep a tidy work station

· Experience with mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems would be beneficial

· Flexible working with busy seasons and weekends

· Must be able to drive tractors and agricultural machinery to a high standard

· To assist with the maintenance of workshop space buildings and resources

The ideal candidate would be educated to a level 3 in Engineering with, ideally, experience in Agriculture, Plant or Motor vehicle industry. The candidate should have a positive and proactive approach to work. Be self sufficient and work as a member of the team.
