Agricultural Technician and Engineer

As Small Precision Farming business, we are looking to recruit an agricultural technician/engineer to join our team, The role will include servicing and installing customer farms equipment throughout the year.

Responsibilities and Duties

On a day-to-day basis the role will be mostly office based, however during our busy season’s the candidate would be expected to be on the road servicing the electronic devices as well as supporting our customers, this could either be remotely or on farm,

All applicates will be given extensive training and experience

Requirements

A full UK driving license

A Capable level of IT Skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Proactive ‘Hands-On’ and ‘Can-Do’ approach

Good communication skills

Some Agricultural Knowledge

Job Roles

  • To Install, Service and Maintain the YARA N-Sensor remotely or on farm
  • To Install, Service and Maintain the Cropscan Protein Monitor

The correct applicant will need to understand or be willing to learn about agriculture and progressive agricultural technologies, The applicant must be able to work alone or as a team working to maintain and resolve any issues. The applicant will be required to stay away with work through busy periods and may even be asked to go on last-minute call outs in our busy period. This position may also extend into sales which can offer a sales reward scheme.

Job Type:

Full Time 39hrs a week + Overtime

Salary:

Negotiable depending on experience and commitment.

Hourly rate also available.

A Company Vehicle will be provided as well as an expenses card, Laptop and Phone. Tools can also be provided too.
