Agricultural and Commercial Tyre Fitter - Full Time

£16000 - £24000 dependant upon experience

Farmer’s Tyre Ltd is a long standing family run business, based near Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. We specialise in the manufacture of agricultural and industrial wheels and the supply of tyres to the agricultural sector, both throughout the UK and overseas.

Due to the continued expansion of the business, we are currently seeking to recruit additional agricultural / commercial tyre fitters to join our team on full time contracts.

For the successful candidate we offer competitive rates of pay, a varied and interesting work environment with the opportunity for overtime and an a work based pension.

The key duties include:
Fitting and repair of agricultural, industrial, commercial and automotive tyres, both on and off site.
Liaising with production department to ensure customer deadlines are met.
Driving of counter balance and tele-handler trucks for the use of moving wheels and tyres around the site.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate and possess:
The ability to work safely on all types and sizes of agricultural and heavy equipment tyres to industry standards.
Confidence to work alone or as part of a team, with a good eye for detail.
Ability to accurately complete all relevant paperwork as required.
Flexibility and willingness to work overtime and/or call-outs, when required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Possess a full, current driving licence.


Required Experience
Previous experience in the fitting and repair of agricultural / commercial / heavy equipment tyres is preferred, but we will also consider candidates with car tyre experience.

Mechanical qualifications would be beneficial but not essential.
