Role: Agile Scrum Master Salary: £6 0k Location/ working arrangement: fully remote in the UK with very occasional office trips in Aldershot Are you fed up with reading thousands of adverts that all sound the same? Will you explode if you read dynamic or exciting just one more time? If youre nodding (or screaming YES), read on. I m really hyped to be working with a most excellent green energy company that is not only filled to the brim with genuinely great people, they are also doing a significant amount of work in helping to reduce climate change, and thus making the world a better place to live. They are in the renewable energy sector, and are growing really quickly, which is so fabulous to see They have done a great job in attracting and keeping (they have a really low attrition rate) entrepreneurial people, who want a quiet life with no drama, but heaps of interesting and rewarding work to do. With a number of offices across the globe, and a lot of growth happening, you can be certain that your career progression here will be almost exponential You can travel across the world with them, if you so desire, or work completely remotely if that s more your bag On this occasion, they have asked me to find them an adaptive, experienced Agile Scrum Master, ideally with lots of charisma and gravitas. Youll be someone who loves working alongside others, very collaborative, and certainly not of the mindset been there, done that, so its my way or the highway Leading a cross-functional team of around 6-7 people initially, youll be instrumental in setting up their Agile practices properly. For context, they have been following Agile Scrum methodologies, loosely, for a while now, but want to up their game significantly You will need to be able to inspire confidence in your team and peers, listen to ideas when they come your way, and make sure all ceremonies go ahead as planned, deadlines are met, and that your team are happy, motivated, and productive. Ideally, youll have a scrum master certification, but its not imperative. It would be seriously beneficial if you ve come from a technical background- preferably as a developer or tester- or have at least interacted heavily with tech teams in the past, so you can speak their language and understand their problems really well. If this sounds just like you, please drop me a line or apply today to find out more
