What you will be doing
  • You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Graduate Verification and Validation Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Opportunity to master managerial and technical skills.

  • From day one, you will be assigned to a particular department and will be guided through the various placement opportunities that exist within your function,

  • The wider business and even with customers and suppliers.

  • As part of the V&V Engineering team within Airbus Defence and Space Cyber Security UK you will be verifying new cryptographic devices and key management systems to assure critically sensitive national and commercial information.

  • You will have the opportunity to grow in a number of domains against varying test surfaces against vigorous standards set by the UK National Cyber Security Centre.

  • You will contribute across the full development lifecycle for bespoke cryptographic products, in collaboration with systems, software, hardware and FPGA engineers.

  • Work within the Cyber Security UK Engineering team developing test cases and associated scripts against networked cryptographic devices and cryptographic key management systems.

At the end of the 2 year development programme you will be fully equipped to be a key player as System Integration & Test Engineer.

What we look for


To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:

  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study in Engineering

  • Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Engineering, Computer science, networking and security testing.

  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)

  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation

  • The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.


Salary: £31,000
