Agency Nurse Job Description

Duties:
- Provide patient care in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Document patient medical information accurately and timely
- Maintain patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate with patients and their families regarding their care plan
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:
- (pin number) Active nursing license in good standing
- Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
