INTRODUCE
AFS the business was conceived in September 2016. The founders of the company have a combined, 50 years of Supply Chain Management experience. During this period there have been many changes to how the supply chain, in particular, the last mile has evolved. The experience within Supply Chain by the founders is broad, including Fleet Management, Sortation and Shipping through to Software Development. This intimate understanding of Supply Chain and the exposure gained through working with some of the worlds largest retailers helped the founders understand and identify a genuine need in the market for Last Mile Operators to think and work differently. AFS recognizes that Business wants to meet the expectations of their customers faster and that they would like to do so without the expense of substantial fixed infrastructure costs. This makes the same day delivery out of reach for many businesses and their customers. Yet this is precisely what both want. AFS has created technology to make this a reality. Our objective is to not only change whats possible in terms of shortening the distance between business and their customer we want to do this through positive driver engagement and experience. Empowering drivers to make safe, sensible decisions that are right for them, the business and the customer. Our Technology and Operational focus allow this to happen.
