We believe our residents deserve a place that is safe, clean and green, with high quality services they can rely on.Hammersmith & Fulham has secured funding to develop a private rented sector accommodation pathway for prison leavers and ex-offenders. This is a fixed-term role or secondment for two years. The postholder will be part of a new initiative to help this under-served group from homelessness and rough sleeping. The post holder will be responsible for procuring suitable and affordable private rented accommodation and tenancy sustainment support for the duration of the tenancy.We are looking for someone with strong brokering and negotiation skills who can also work in partnership with landlords, agencies and a range of support agencies to ensure that tenancies are well managed.Our mission is to be the best council.   • Deliver a bespoke procurement and hand-holding resettlement service, ensuring that ex-offenders’ placements into private rented accommodation is suitable, affordable and co-ordinated across all partner agencies.
  • Provide ongoing tenancy sustainment for the duration of all tenancies, minimising the risk of tenancy breakdown and preventing repeat homelessness.
  • Create a new housing offer for homeless ex-offenders in the Borough.
  • Work with the London Probation Service and the jointly funded AfEO Coordinator who will be working across Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster to develop this project.
