We are currently looking for an experienced and well motivated locum Qualified Social Worker with experience within an Adoption team. You will be joining an independent adoption agency with an ’outstanding’ rating and an excellent reputation.

This locum assignment will be on a rolling basis but initially 3 months, and the pay rate is £32 per hour, mileage and expenses are also covered.

Duties And Responsibilities (not Exhaustive)
  • Adoption assessments
  • Taking cases to panel
  • Family finding
  • Assessing prospective carers
  • Writing reports
  • Liaising with other professionals
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation


Requirements
  • All applicants must be HCPC Registered and have relevant post qualification experience
  • Knowledge and experience of working in Adoption
  • A commitment to securing positive outcomes for children and young people
  • Ability to work well within a team and autonomously
  • Must be a car driver with a full, clean UK driving licence

Financial Details

Pay rate is £32 per hour limited

Mileage and expenses are covered
