Admissions Assistant

Role Overview

You’ll assist the Head of Admissions with Admissions-related events, entrance examinations, assist in planning of overseas trips and support the administrative function of the Admissions Office in the recruitment of pupils at all points of entry.

Admissions Assistant Responsibilities:

Assisting the Head of Admissions in the complete admissions process from initial enquiry to the pupil joining the School, including:

Overseeing administration of (and attending where required) admissions-related events, including, but not limited to, Open Days, Entrance examinations, scholarship evenings, adventure days, entrance days, etc. Certain events will take place in evenings and weekends. Assisting with enquiries regarding prospective pupils. Assisting with Parent Visits and Tours as required. Assisting with maximising all touch points on the parent / pupil journey. Producing, disseminating and collating New Pupils’ Papers. Co-ordinating non-Common Entrance pupil entrance tests and liaising with teaching staff on the marking of papers and consolidation of results, arranging candidate interviews. Working closely with the Head of Admissions to liaise with international recruitment agents regarding admissions process, overseas examinations and arranging, where necessary, Skype/Zoom/Teams interviews. Working together with Admissions and Marketing colleagues to maintain the quantity and quality of entrants to the College in meeting agreed recruitment targets. Supporting Admissions and Marketing colleagues and senior staff in the organisation of international recruitment events, travel and arrangements, liaising with agents and any event organisers as necessary.
