An exciting opportunity has arisen for an honest, hard-working and self-motivated individual to join Chase Grammar School as Admissions Administrator. They will act as an initial point of contact from parents’ first enquiries through to the final stages of recruitment and, as such, must be well-presented with a professional, friendly approach, in face-to-face meetings, on the phone and through email and social media communication.

Duties/Task and Responsibilities
  • Represent the school in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Recruit students to the school at all levels, managing the whole admissions process using admissions technology effectively
  • Ensure all leads are followed up and regular reports are available for the Principal
  • Work alongside the Registrar to ensure systems and procedures in support of admissions are effective and follow best practice
  • Take part in relevant school meetings about admissions
  • Provide cover collaboratively with other office staff for staffing Reception
  • Understand and support the School’s ethos

Terms & Conditions

Salary & Pension: salaries are competitive; the School will contribute a percentage of pensionable salary towards a pension scheme, such as the Peoples’ Pension Scheme.

School Fees Remission: any child of a member of staff who, having satisfied the entry requirements, and at the Proprietor’s discretion, is admitted as a student to the School will receive the benefit of the staff discount of 50% remission of the School fees. This may be increased in the case of Scholarship or Sibling awards.

Working Hours: normal working hours will be 08:20 - 17:00 Monday to Friday, although the hours of work will reflect the fact that Chase is a busy boarding and day school and many events take place outside these regular hours. Attendance at recruitment events outside of these times may also be required: occasional evening or Saturday events, for example.

Probation Period: an offer of employment will be subject to a probation period of one year, during which employment will be subject to termination with two weeks’ notice.

Notice Period: following probation, you will be required to give the School one months’ notice.

Free Meals: will be provided throughout the year when the School’s kitchens are open.
