A superb opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join a fast paced Shipping & Logistics team for a £mm international lifestyle FMCG business selling into the UK’s Retail sector.

This Lifestyle Brand FMCG Organisation has an experienced a rapid rise in revenue and organisational operations over the last 2 years. Due to this, they are now seeking an experienced Administrator to join the Shipping & Logistics team in supporting the co-ordination of inbound goods and products through their supply chain into their distribution centre located in Stroud.

You will have experience of working in a fast paced and regulated environment, ideally within a supply chain environment, although it’s more about your administration skills, attention to detail and collaborative working style that is the most important to succeed in this position.

You will be responsible for recording and tracking shipments, updating internal systems with information around pricing, lead times and scheduling.

Reporting into the UK Purchasing Manager, as Administrator - Supply Chain you will be responsible for:
  • Daily contact with foreign suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure on time shipments; updating the systems to provide accurate stock availability information to the sales team.
  • Arranging import documentation, coordinating container deliveries and receipt of stock; checking and processing corresponding invoices.
  • Updating buying plans and forecasts based on weekly sales trends.
  • Using in-house reporting systems to plan future buying strategies with the Product Development and Marketing team.
  • Preparing product cost calculations to aid decisions on potential new products.
  • Assisting with business-wide special projects and priority tasks as needed.
