JOB TITLE: ADMINISTRATOR/RECEPTIONIST REPORTS AND RESPONSIBLE TO: Office Manager HOURS OF DUTY: 21 hours a week minimum Main Job Purpose: To provide clinical coding and correspondence management to the practice to ensure patient records are maintained and complete. To work within an existing administration team. Main duties and Responsibilities The postholder will prioritise their own workload daily to ensure the tasks set are completed. The post holder will work within the administration team but will have sole responsibilities to maintain.Maintain and clinically code all hospital letters received in both paper and electronic format. Liaising with the GPs and clinical staff if guidance is required to maintain complete records. Scanning of hospital correspondence and all other clinical information to patient records. Assisting with medical report requests.
Patient registrations and sending/receiving patient records. General administration tasks Summarising patient records when required. Clinical searches when required.
