Administrator – Oxford
We are looking for an Administrator to join our Product Maintenance Team based in Oxford
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience with the Product Maintenance Team, in a supportive and fast paced environment with a scope to learn, develop skills and career progression. No experience is required as full training will be provided. This is a great opportunity for someone who is beginning their career in Administration!
You will be expected to adhere to set quality standards and process incoming workload in line with departmental objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering relevant information to ensure sufficient supplier data has been collected to accurately maintain the product file.
- Maintenance includes managing invoice price, part numbers, barcode, description, and product life-cycle information.
- Receiving, validating, and adding new product requests from authorised parties.
- Shared responsibility for a central mailbox.
- Ensuring that the job log is fully completed.
- Communicating with Procurement, Suppliers and branch network via phone and email.

- Proficient and accurate attention to detail.
- Highly organised, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
- Confident and strong communicator.
- Driven to achieve targets and take ownership of workload often within tight deadlines.
- Able to follow detailed procedures.
- High level of numeracy skills.
- Fluent use of MS packages (Excel – confident using formulae, Outlook, Word)
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
