Service Administrator
Eastleigh
£22,000 – £26,000

1-1 Recruitment are looking for a service administrator to join this team in the Eastleigh/Southampton area. The company maintain the transport refrigeration systems for vehicle fleet operators. The role of service administrator requires someone to carry out all administrative tasks relating to repairs and maintenance of the refrigeration units, creating quotes for customers, and ensuring any spare parts are available.
You will be working in the service office, which can get quite dusty and dirty from the nearby workshop, so please bear this in mind before applying. Due to the remote location of the office, you must be able to drive.

Day to day responsibilities
  • Create quotes and invoices by inputting data on to the integrated computer system
  • Answer the phone and take clear messages from customers
  • Copy, scan and file all necessary paperwork
  • Arrange repair works

Skills, attributes and qualifications
  • Computer literacy, ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good handwriting, ability to complete forms and documents
  • Interpersonal skills, ability to liaise effectively with the service team and the customers
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical terminology
  • Required qualifications: English, mathematics, business studies (preferred not essential). An engineering or mechanical qualification would be an advantage
