At the NHS, we are reminded every day of how important life is. As a flexible working friendly organisation, we want to be sure that you can work in a way that is best for us and for our patients, and for you. Speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate a flexible working arrangement whether that’s job share, part time or another flexible pattern. In addition, although the role advertised may have a ‘home’ office base indicated, we remain committed to supporting flexibility around workplace locations. If it works for the service, we will do our best to make it work for you.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare/NHS
administrator to join Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust working with
teams in supporting the Local Point of Access service. We are looking to
recruit admin support which will cover Callington, Launceston, Liskeard,
Looe, Saltash and Torpoint teams, primarily based at St. Barnabas hospital
in Saltash. This will initially be worked 37.5 hours Monday – Friday but
as the service evolves, rotational weekend working will be required as it
moves to 7 day provision and extends to 0800-2000 cover.

Areas within the role will include monitoring and inputting to the Single Electronic Referral System and maintaining tracking and allocation, transferring information and using other nhs electronic systems e.g. RIO. Competency in excel, manage and maintaining databases and attention to detail across all areas of work is required. Key professional knowledge and skills include understanding of adherence to confidentiality, accuracy, clear communication skills and IT literacy together with flexibility to support where required.

There is a degree of autonomy within this administration
role and the expectation of self organising and supporting teams is needed. An administrator with experience of working administratively within the NHS/health would be preferred. Part time/full time/job share available.
