About Us:

Fairplay Outdoor Education Centre is Newham’s Outdoor Education Centre based near Witham in Essex. The Centre offers a wide range of land and water based activities for schools, businesses, youth groups and clubs. Fairplay House is situated in a spectacular and inspiring 12 acre parkland garden less than an hour’s drive from London and offers a large range of tailored, flexible Outdoor Education Programmes to children mostly from the London Borough of Newham. The house has residential facilities for up to 72 pupils and 6 staff.

Fairplay OEC has a wide range of Outdoor and Adventurous Activities such as climbing, abseiling, high ropes, zip wire, high swing, caving, environmental studies, beach combing, orienteering, sailing, canoeing, kayaking and raft building to groups of mostly primary age children who stay with their teachers.

About You:

You need to relish working with the public, enjoy interacting with residents and be able to bring your experience of this to the role. You must also be able to demonstrate you can work in an organised way, with good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
