We are pleased to recruit to 8 newly created posts for Activity Coordinators at Rampton High Secure Hospital.Rampton Hospital is one of 3 national high secure hospitals for people with mental health needs, including the national services for people with learning disabilities, d/Deaf services and Women’s services.As post holder, you will have a key role in supporting patients in daily tasks and meaningful activities, and will be a key link between ward based activities and day units.You will- Work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team
- Work flexibly to support patients in a variety of contexts as per hospital staffing demands
- Offer a wide range of ward and day unit based activities
- Contribute to the care pathways of male and female patients in high dependency care with complex needs and high-risk behaviours.
- Act as a positive role model to colleagues and patients and monitor/supervise junior staff as required.
- Plan a ward activity programme to engage patients in the Recovery process.
- Act as a link between the Ward and Therapies teams.
