The Role

Condé Nast Britain is looking for an Acting Talent Acquisition Manager to manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the Company continues to introduce exceptional talent to our business units who in turn will drive our brands and business to even greater success.

Reporting directly to the HR Director and working closely with the HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers and our recruitment partners at the London HQ, their primary responsibility is to make sure the hiring process runs efficiently from start to finish.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive candidate with in-house recruitment experience. An extensive knowledge of the full-cycle recruitment process is essential as is the confidence to engage with members of staff at all levels.

Day to day responsibilities will include creating job descriptions, advertising vacancies on the Condé Nast Careers website and job boards, filtering and shortlisting applications, arranging interviews, holding interviews, providing candidate feedback and extending offers of employment.

They will be involved in the migration of the current ATS (applicant tracking system) to Workday.

The volume of recruitment is high; therefore, the ideal candidate will be extremely organised, with the ability to multi-task and manage their time effectively so that the needs of the business are met.

This is a approx. 12 month fixed term maternity contract beginning early October 2021.


Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Full-cycle recruitment support for all vacancies across all departments and head office functions
  • Arrange interviews with candidates, PSL and hiring managers accordingly
  • Post advertisements on the Condé Nast Careers website
  • Be passionate about sourcing candidates through your broad network, job boards and social media as well as building robust pipelines for future roles
  • Apply strategies to attract diverse candidates to all your functions
  • Maintain a recruitment applicant tracking system ensuring information is up-to-date
  • Communicate professionally and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times both internally and externally
  • Offer an exemplary candidate experience keeping in mind our employer brand
  • Be a confident and competent interviewer, able to spot the very best talent
  • Perform administrative duties as required to support the HR team
  • Booking meeting rooms and sending supporting documents to hiring managers
  • Partner with the global Talent Acquisition team for shared use of tools and resources
  • Onboarding queries
Essential Skills & Requirements
  • Competence in G-Suite and MS Office Suite
  • Applicant Tracking System (recruitment database) experience is essential, Workday preferred
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience
  • Experience in recruiting large volumes of vacancies
  • Knowledge of social media including Twitter
  • Organised and efficient with good attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise a large workload
  • Have genuine curiosity for trends within the TA landscape
  • Strong experience working in an effective in-house talent acquisition team
