About The Service


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Housing & Communities’ Advice Service.

The Council’s Advice Service is made up of the Into Work Advice Service, Housing Solutions & Prevention team, Money Advice team and the Advice and Housing Helplines. Together, the teams provide a complete package of practical support, information, and guidance for residents of Cardiff.

The Advice Service provides support to people who are actively seeking employment or looking to upskill; the team is able to offer support and intensive mentoring through externally funded project sand volunteering opportunities.

The Into Work Advice Service manages a number of externally funded employability projects, which is supported by the work of the Quality Team through audits, monitoring and evaluation of each of the programmes.


About the job


The role will assist both Into Work Services and Adult Learning to develop and manage a robust reporting function, ensuring performance data is submitted to funding providers timely and accurately each month as well as internal core data and Key Performance Indicators.

This post is responsible for managing and co-ordinate the administration of accredited courses within programmes, through the relevant awarding bodies. The post is required to develop new courses to enhance the delivery programme for Adult Community Learning.


What We Are Looking For From You


Experience of writing and delivering Agored Cymru units.

Experience of auditing / quality checking.

Experience of delivering training sessions.

Proven experience of providing high quality documents and reports for senior manager.

Experience of developing and maintaining recording mechanisms.

Ability to analyse and summarise complex data.

Experience of multi-agency partnership working.

Experience of externally funded programmes.

Experience of using new computer technology.


Additional information


This post is temporary until 31/03/2024.

The post will be required to work from a number of different locations, including Central Library Hub and other community Hub buildings.

This vacancy is suitable for post share.
