Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with UK GAAP.
  • Liaise with clients to offer advice on tax matters, financial forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to provide clients with accurate advice.
  • Collaborate with the audit team to ensure smooth and efficient audit processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submissions of VAT returns, Corporation Tax, and other relevant financial documentation.

Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
  • A minimum of an ACCA or ACA qualification or nearing completion.
  • Proficient with accounting software, preferably with experience in Xero or QuickBooks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A keen eye for detail and an analytical mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
