We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Eastleigh, Hampshire.The Accounts Payable Manager OpportunityReporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will have full responsibility of the Accounts Payable function, providing strong leadership. A critical role to ensure accuracy of month end reporting, cash flow forecasting, and management information. The role will suit an ambitious, motivated individual used to managing a team dealing with high volume transactional data.Role Responsibilities Will Include
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the General Purchase Ledger and Accounts Payable team to ensure KPI’s achieved;
  • Educate the team on AP processes, policies, systems, and provide learning and development opportunities;
  • Maintain Purchase Ledger integrity and assist with cashflow forecasting;
  • Control, review, and authorise payments;
  • Weekly and monthly monitoring of the Accounts Payable performance ensuring a consistent level of quality and compliance is delivered;
  • Continual process efficiency review and optimisation;
  • Educate the team on AP processes, policies, systems, and provide learning and development opportunities;

About You
  • Management experience within finance essential
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently to deadlines
  • Accuracy and a great eye for detail are crucial, as are excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An advanced level of understanding and using Excel and strong IT abilities
