Full Time, Temporary 6 months

Package:Competitive basic + onsite parking

Working:Monday to Friday, 35 hours but part-time would be considered

Location:Hybrid - around 4 times per month in Head Office, Winnersh Triangle, Berkshire RG41 5TP

This Account Payable Clerk will provide support across the UK based Advantage Smollan Group companies. We are seeking someone to do purchase and sales ledger but is a progressive individual, eager to develop within the team.

You will be responsible for:
  • Processing invoices (purchases)
  • Raising Medius (Purchase Ledger System) PO invoices
  • Assisting with allocations and reconciling supplier accounts
  • Processing employee expenses, audits and maintaining the system (Chrome River – Expenses system)
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations, posting to D365 (Main Finance System)
  • Assisting with managing the accounts mailbox and phone line
  • Any other related tasks as required.

You will also help with the following:
  • Processing invoices (sales)
  • Reconciling customer account to payment received
  • Month end activities to assist the management account team, i.e., journal creation and input.
  • Debt collection/chasing payments occasionally.

You will have :
  • Ideally one years’ experience working in a busy accounts payable position but experience working in a fast paced, ever changing business would be advantageous.
  • The desire to learn and progress.
  • The ability to prioritise and work unsupervised.
  • Experience of using D365, Medius or Chrome River is an advantage.

So, what are the responsibilities?

  • Processing employee expenses and maintaining the system (Concur)
  • Processing employee expense and supplier payments
  • Checking, processing and the admin behind the company credit cards
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with managing the accounts mailbox and phone line

You will also help with the following:
  • Processing invoices (sales)
  • Reconciling customer accounts to payments received
  • Month end activities to assist the Accounts Management team, i.e. journal creation and input
  • and what qualifications should you have?

You will have :
  • Ideally one year’s experience working in a busy accounts payable position
  • The desire to learn and progress
  • The ability to prioritise and work unsupervised
  • Experience of using Sage 200 and Concur is preferred
