We are looking to recruit a Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk to help with accounting tasks within our busy office.

What will you be doing?

  • Your key responsibilities will be to maintain supplier accounts in accordance with our Company policies including the daily input of Purchase Orders and Invoices and the matching of payments through the accounts system.
  • You will ensure that all the weekly/monthly transmissions are processed to meet our deadlines.
  • On a monthly basis you will review key accounts and produce regular supplier statement reconciliations. Any outstanding payment queries you will escalate for action.

Do you have what it takes?

  • A minimum of 2 years accounts payable experience essential
  • Understanding of different accounting software systems
  • A flexible approach to working hours especially at month/year end
  • Intermediate Excel skills essential
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programmes
  • AAT qualified / studying towards would be desirable but not essential

Salary is pro rata for part time hours worked.
